A striking, solid sterling silver, hand-crafted ammonite sand cast pendant, cast from 925 sterling silver and hand-finished in my workshop. The original ammonite is one that I found on Charmouth beach on England’s Jurassic Coast when I was fossil hunting. Ammonites lived in the seas between 240-65 million years ago, which is truly an amazing thought. There’s something very appealing about shape and structure of an ammonite and I couldn’t resist trying to make a silver version.
Part of the charm of this pendant is its satisfying weight and tactile quality as it is made from solid silver, assayed and hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
Each pendant is slightly different, due to the hand-crafting and finishing process involved.

It is 10 grams of solid 925 sterling silver
16mm wide by 25mm high to the top of the silver loop, by 4mm thick
It has a highly polished, shiny finish.
